This home surpassed all of our expectations! I honestly thought it couldn't be a nice as the pictures - but it was! Everything was absolutely beautiful and clean. The appliances were state of the art. We comfortably housed four families in this home for a reunion and cooked dinners every evening. The fully equipped kitchen provided everything we needed and satisfied even our most discriminating chefs. Definitely the most beautiful home that we've ever stayed in!

The Hamiltons have thought through every painstaking details in a fine taste. Internet, printer, fax, scanner, and even paper. Wood logs for the fire place, utensils in the kitchen, decor in the house, movies/ books for kids and adults. I could go on and on... We have rented houses before (including in the Wintergreen Resort) and no other property comes close!

The Wintergreen Getaway definitely rates 5 stars. Our family, including children and grandchildren, gathered together to spend Christmas week 2006 there. From the beginning the Hamilton's were a pleasure to work with-sending info on the area and promptly responding to questions about the house and Wintergreen. The floor plan is wonderful, and the owners paid attention to every detail. We were thrilled to find even a lighted Christmas tree upon our arrival. Every room was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped to entertain a crowd. My sister, sister-in-law, and her family stayed across the road and joined us for Christmas day, dinners, visiting, and playing games. The spacious living areas easily accomodated everyone. Everyone had a great time and we all agreed the Wintergreen Getaway was the perfect place to gather with family and friends!

This was a fabulous house for a gathering of a lifetime, friends & family, and the new generation of children to celebrate a 65th birthday. We enjoyed all the touches to the house and were delighted to be the first week long guests. A memorable snowy vacation!

What a terrific house for family get-togethers. We were 6 adults and 5 children; from 75 to 21 months and very comfortable for six days of glorious warm weather activities. Compliments on your great choices of games and toys to engage all the kids – young and old.

We had a parade of folks over the past two weeks and everyone loved the house. We also had a number of wintergreen homeowners stop by, and they thought it was great! We watched a baby bear out the back window, he hung out a while and climbed a tree. Maybe he wants to visit the “Wintergreen Getaway”.

What a beautiful house! We enjoyed all the space and light and everybody commented on the tasteful decorating. We spent the days with some friends from our Penn State University Math Club and it was a very relaxing weekend of fun and fellowship. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful house! We had a wonderful week here with 7 adults and 2 kids. The beds were comfy, the cooks would not stop raving about the kitchen, the kids adored their room and all the books, and we ate almost every meal on the great deck! We are thrilled to have spent a very memorable family vacation here and will recommend family vacation here and will recommend your house to anyone who plans to come this way.
